this blog seems likes it's dead and dying. no. more like DEAD! so me the wonderful is here to save it! haha. but it's mostly also because i'm bored and i have time. but seriously, this blog is dying. maybe not serious dying, but still. i don want to see the class blog die.
ok. firstly, the new year's gonna start. going to our new classes. but really, do anyone of you 1 charitians '05 think there can be a class greater than ours this year? no. certainly not me.
at first, i didn't really like our class. i thought it was a full of nerds and i really didn't like it. but as time wore on, i realised that it was absolutely WONDERFUL.
although there were times when the whole class seemed so un-united, like everyone hated each other, there were many more wonderful times eclipsing those.
for example, during games carnival, when everyone went to support the soccer team, the cheering and support for them was so great. and when they won, the whole class was estatic.
how the whole class bonded together, how we worked together, was really unforgetable. and getting the champion was what we deserved. that day, everyone in the class seemed so wonderful.
besides that, there was the talenttime and mini-drama.
most of the class came back on the holidays to practise for them.
although we didn't get first for talenttime, we did our best. it still felt great.
and for mini-drama, all our practice paid off. i remember us rehearshing the skit over and over again just before the real thing.
and later, our performance was simply fantastic.
and when we were announced champion, the look on everyone's faces was just so happy.
however, besides these achievements, there were some failures too. but the great thing was that we learned from the mistakes made and improved and succeeded.
this year has been an unforgettable one. but it passed really quickly.
i hope that although we're no longer all together, we still remember each other.
1C '05 was a truly great class :D

games carnival

we, the soccer team would like to thank all the people in one charity for supporting us in the intense finals. without your support and prayers, we would not have been able to make it.

the soccer team had taken the initiative to train, a couple of times during our recess and twice after school on monday and wednnesday from 2 o'clock to 4pm. we played friendly matches with other classes and always prayed to God to guide us on the day itself.

the soccer team was nervous. we weren't sure of ourselves. first we were up agaist 1 dilligence. we stood in a circle holding hands and praying. at first we were a little jumpy but we slowly warmed up to the game and started to make improvement and progress. the first goal was scored by natalie chen! and following by clarissa koh rat! scream and hugs! we were overjoyed when we won the game by 2-0. we became more confident yet telling ourselves not to under estimate the other people.

we visited the 1 charity captains ball. they were playing against hope and they lost. they were most porbably nervous and could do better. we had to leave as our match against hope was starting soon. again we prayed in our circle and jogged onto the field. as we played on, we started tp get desperate cause we weren't scoring any goals and we definately didn't want a draw. so later, sandra was kicking the ball down, no defenders in sight. she kicked but the goal keeper caught it, but she was running so fast that she rammed into the goal keeper, who was so shock that dropped the ball. and happy little natalie tan came skipping from behind and she SCORED! won 1-0!:D

then we had an hour break before our 1 fath game, so we went to the canteen, bought 7 ice milos and 2 chicken mushroom noodle to share. after eating a little, hoping not to throw up, we went down and prayed in our circle before the next game. it was quite okay, natalie tan together with megan scored! game end, we won 1-0.

then it was our game with grace, said the prayers. then we played. it was a little hard but in the end, clarissa scored!! yay so game end 1-0!

we went to visit the captains ball games, half way in the match of Charity and Dilligence. screams for charity were all around. and finally after a WAY intensified battle, charity emerged victorious! Charity people hugged each other, the happiness of beating dilligence was so great! then everyone gathered at the new spectators stand. they announced 1 charity winners of group A! we were to play against 1 Unity who were in 2nd position in group B. 1 Loyalty was Group B winner, 1 Dilligence was runner up for group A! our captains ball was also going to the semi finals! our captains ball were also to go for the semi finals. everyone was excited.

we were so nervous. we start off. intense and solemn prayer session again. we play. we strike thanks to clarissa! WE LOVE CLARISSA SHE ROCKS THE SOCCER FIELD! SCREAMS! then we decided to focus on defending, we did well! and we won 1-0.

we couldnt believe that we were in the finals!loyalty and dilligence kick off. suddenly we realized the whole class was there! and the captains ball people were supporting us too! didn't they have games to play? we found out that there was a tie and they actually calculated by the number of socres. that was so unfair. its just wan't right! so after loyalty (they won the game) finished their game. it was the finals for the top position! we had a huge huge 1 charity prayer. it was good to have your cheering us on. we wore our "feng shuai" green bibs, we always wore them every game and never lost! but loyalty just finished their game, they were tired. so we gracefully allowed them to rest. that was very very fair!

kick off! very intense and exciting. cheering and screaming everywhere. it was a tough and rough match. players pushing each other. a couple of falls, including clarissa and sandra. sandra and natalie tan's strategy was to block that pro loyalty player away from clarissa when she was striking. yes, that girl's playing was freaking good! this was the finals. so we all CHONG for victory! genin made some really good 'running out and steal ball' , clarissa and natalie chen were stealing away the ball. and the cute natalie tan and sandra lau did their best.

finally the game ended. there was a tie 0-0. Mr alan ho told the umpries to tell us to do penalty kicks. sweaty hot and sticky, we prayed somemore to GOD. go for three rounds first. stop if there is a winner after those three rounds.

ROUND 1

clarissa positions herself. her heart beat stopped for a moment.
GOAL! SHRIEKS AND CHEERS HOORAY!

genin warms herself up and prepares. Loyalty striker positions.
SHE BLOCKS CHEERS!

ROUND 2

natalie chen goes. we pray silently. unfortunately she misses.
the pro loyalty girl goes. she stirkes. our hearts fell.

Round 3

natalie tan goes. we pray silently. she misses.
another loyalty striker. she misses.

Round 4

sandra walks up to the ball and position. with a silent prayer she kicks with all her might. GOAL! WE COULDN'T BELIVE OUR EYES!

everyone crowded round and hugged each other , the weight was so much that sandra toppled and someone squashed her leg. but right at the bottom of the fallen people was poor old natalie tan haha.

people held their breaths as another loyalty striker postions herself. "GO GENIN!"

BLOCK SAVED!!!

CHARITY WINS! 2-1

SCREAMED AND CHEERED WE WERE SO HAPPY!

and now the heros of our victory...

poor lobby has suffered another truama. had guides today and trina decided to bring lobby along with her to guides, alothough michelle had the key to the classroom and she could get lobby back after the session ended. she was scread she'd forget all about lobby and leave him in class throughout the weekend. so she brought it to the specs stand where we had to fall in. left it there throughout the guides session. and as if trina would forget all about lobby. lobby was trina thought about. she kept on saying some stuff like "aiya. i wonder how's lobby. i very scared something happen to him....." you get it...

was around 6.40 that we were dismissed from the home econs lab. looked down and saw a big group of guides where lobby was. saw someone holding on to lobby's cage cover. screamed and ran down.(trina, the first to go, obviously, followed by michelle, christel and rachel)...
saw water on the specs stand.
heard screams.
pebbles on the floor.
go infer.
yep.
the cage had been somehow kicked or pushed.
wether or not lobby had been swept out of the cage, we didn't know. by the time we got there, lobby was in it. of the two shrimps that there were, only one found, survived. the other well, MISSING, assumed dead. and yepp. there were blood worms on the floor. tiny wriggly things. eww.
and. we know who the well...so called "culprit" is. heh-heh. i know her, and the whole of 1 Charity knows her. its hannah, the prefect who checks our attire everyday? yupp. her. hahahahaah. she's really guilty, so don't blame her la. =D it was an accident. she kept on saying "sorry" and was all " is your lobster the expensive kind?" "how much does a shrimp cost" and omg... every morning i check their class one lar. they're gonna hate me for this, i think they already hate me for askin them to pull up their socks." accidents happen, so not her fault okay? lobby's alright now anyway.
okay. end of story. we'll see how trina managed to lug all her stuff as well as lobby home. (she didn't wanna take a taxi although her father asked her too...)

Well... the day started off with ... our NEW class pet which was then released after afew minutes ... .. STICKY!!! Trina and I found it on the railing.. and thanks to NAT TAN for catchin it for us... even though it's leg got injured right after that.. hahas... .. yeah.. that was STICKY!!! trina, face it.. SPIKY'S DEAD... .. get it? DEAD... D-E-A-D..MUAHAHHAHAHA

okie. that was stupid.. lalala... anyway... . then.. later on.. we had geography... which was great! coz. the very observant me saw the mangoes on the tree simply falling onto the ground... .. we picked 6 mangoes in all! muahaha... didn't give any of them to ms choo.. muuahahah!

well.. yeah... .. we had the xi you ji finals today... .. 1D came in third... and .. yeah.. you've guessed it - 1 C came in 2nd...

to be honest.. i was kinda disappointed... but HEY! WE CAME IN SECOND! which isn't bad at all... .. come on! let's live up to the 1C spirit! :D

btw.. thanks huimin, andrea, joan and michelle for gettin the class to cheer together... it was really encouraging and it really motivated us. thanks!

Not to mention, WeeLeng, XinYu , Denise and Eunice for helping us! ... well. the music didn't came out right.. but it's all right! :D dun feel disheartened!

AND... WAT'S MORE... ... ... CHARITY'S GOT INTO THE FINALS FOR THE XI YOU JI ACT!!! IN BRIEF, WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK SANDRA LAU, CLARRISSA, XIN YU, STEFANIE, JAC LIM'S GROUP, MICHELLE'S GROUPFOR LENDING US YOUR BEAUTIFUL PROPS :D AND NOT TO MENTION, WEELENG AND TAN CHENG FOR RUSHING TO THE CLASSROOM AT THE LAST MOMENT TO GET OUR PROPS... .. Soon after... we named it.. SPIKY... ... the hairy quiet caterpillar... ...

Its death was discovered by Natalie Tan... ... .. who came out from no where (according to rachel... .. ) shouting out "SPIKY"S DEAD!!! ST JOHNS!!!"

but to no avail.. the St johns pple couldn't revive him... ...

*drums roll....* here comes michelle with the flashy blue tie!!!... ... Andrea and her "spongy" (zhu ba jie) nose... :P and ... JOAN!!! with the key to the classroom... ... besides, perseverance and patience (and maybe responsibility) is the KEY to success!! and all these guys got it all!... ... with Hui Min's guidance of course... YUPZ! Hui Min would be the 'remaining' monitor for the rest of the year!! so let's kick off the nxt term with a BANG.. with these fresh new faces as monitors... .. ... dun give them such a hard time ... .. :P
